Paris with Marathon Tours and Travel
The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is extremely popular with runners from around the world and nothing can compare to experiencing a marathon with 60,000 other runners, in the most beautiful city of Paris in the Spring!
The Course
Starting on the Champs Elysees with the Arc de Triomphe behind, the course is a marathon of contrasts. Expect to see and run past the famous sights of Paris with crowds of supporters calling your name lining the streets. Run down, through and up numerous tunnels, alongside the river seine, and through two large city green parks before finishing on the Avenue Foch by the Arc de Triomphe. A marathon that you will not forget!
Start Time: 9:00 AM
Temperature: Average temperatures range between 50F and 63F.
Entry Fee: – Marathon Tours & Travel, as an official Tour Partner of The Paris Marathon and has guaranteed race entry included in all runner’s packages. Entry only is not available.
Eligibility: All runners must be at least 21 years of age. In 2021 there were approximately 47,000 registered runners. A medical waiver signed by a physician is required for all runners.
Time Limit: The course time limit is six (6) hours.
Number Pickup: You will need to pick up your race bib at the Salon du Running (Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles) from Thursday, March 30 through Saturday, April 1. Learn more here. More than 200 exhibitors will be at the Expo and the times are:
- Thursday, March 30 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Friday, March 31 – 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Saturday, April 1 – 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

How to Book
To make your booking, click on the orange button at the top of the page, ensuring that you select the correct number of rooms and types for all members in your party plus all the required extras. When you book, we will require a deposit to confirm your place.
Payments
When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically.
The cost of the event entry is non-refundable.

Guaranteed Entry
We are pleased to offer you guaranteed entry for the 2024 Paris Marathon. You can buy the entry at an additional cost if you also buy the accommodation package with us.
Starting Times and Bib Numbers
Although we are licensed to sell official entries for the 2024 Paris Marathon, we have no influence over the allocation of starting times and bib numbers.
Closer to the event we will send you a link which will allow you to complete the registration process for the Paris Marathon. Once you have finalised the registration process, the race organisers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information you provide.
All race rules must be followed.
Minimum Age
To take part in the Event, you must be at least twenty (20) years old at the latest on 31 December 2023.
Medical Certificate
All runners must provide a medical certificate (this is a legal requirement for taking part in running and cycling events in France) stating that there is no medical indication that they cannot take part in a competitive running event. Medical certificates must be uploaded to the runner’s personal account before the event.
The certificate must be dated less than a year prior to the date of the race and have the wording «running in competition », « athletics competition » or « sport in competition »).
When registering for the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris, you will have to use an existing, or create a new, online runner’s account.
Only if medical certificates have been uploaded to the runner’s account, can we deliver entries to the hotels. If your medical certificate has been refused or if you didn’t upload it, you will have to print it and bring it to the bib collection area at the Paris Marathon expo.
